Marine SAE 90 Outboard Gear Oil

Nulon Marine SAE 90 Outboard Gear Oil is a marine grade specific extreme pressure gear oil designed for outboard gearboxes fitted with manual shift mechanisms. Nulon Marine SAE 90 Outboard Gear Oil is also suitable for stern and Z drive gear cases.

Nulon SAE 90 Outboard Gear Oil incorporates specific extreme pressure additives to provide enhanced protection against heat and friction throughout the gears. This will prolong gear life by minimising scuffing, welding, breaking and galling of gear teeth during high loads and continued operation.

For increased protection during hard or prolonged running: use Nulon’s Synthetic Fortified Marine 75W-90 Gear Oil.

How to change your gear case oil

1. Position motor in normal running position.
2. Remove both the oil drain/fill and oil level plug. Allow oil to drain completely.
3. To refill, place nozzle into drain/fill (bottom) hole and squeeze until lubricant appears at oil level (top) hole. Replace oil level plugs.
