Ultra Cool Pre-Mix
Part No:R45PMNulon Ultra Cool Pre-Mix Anti-Corrosion Radiator Coolant (R45PM) is formulated to provide maximum rust and corrosion protection for your engine's cooling system. It will keep your radiator and cooling system clean and free from corrosion, electrolysis, rust and scale build-up. Nulon Ultra Cool Pre-Mix protects aluminium, copper, cast iron, brass and solder, and extends the life of all cooling system components.
Suits pre-1984 cooling system requirements
NOT suitable where anti-freeze/anti-boil coolant is specified. Use Nulon Long Life Concentrated Coolant (LL) for anti-freeze/anti-boil protection.
Nulon Ultra Cool Pre-Mix (R45PM) contains corrosion inhibitors and demineralised water and is designed to provide maximum heat transfer in cooling systems where anti-freeze/anti-boil (glycol) is not specified. Heat transfer in the cooling system is done predominantly by water which has an excellent heat transfer coefficient. Glycol has the ability to extend the operating temperature range of a coolant, however it has a higher heat transfer coefficient than that of water. This is the main reason why non-glycol based coolants transfer heat much more efficiently than glycol based coolants.
In motor sport applications, Nulon Ultra Cool Pre-Mix (R45PM) is a suitable alternate to glycol based coolant. Glycol is very slippery and is difficult to remove from the race track surfaces, which poses risks to other drivers on the track.
The use of tap water is not recommended for automotive cooling systems. Chlorine is usually added to tap water in order to kill bacteria and make it safe for drinking. However chlorine is found to be corrosive in cooling systems. Tap water also contains minerals that can cause scaling when used in a cooling system. These are reasons why Nulon Ultra Cool Pre-Mix (R45PM) is diluted with demineralised water and is ready for immediate use.
Where a vehicle manufacturer particularly specifies the use of anti-freeze/anti-boil coolant with glycol it is essential to use it as some engines suffer from localised "hot spot" boiling and require a glycol coolant.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Refer to the owner's manual for cooling system capacity. NOTE: If the cooling system is dirty or rusty, first clean with Nulon Radiator Flush and Clean (R40). Flush cooling system with clean water. Drain all fluid from the radiator, engine block and heater core. Completely fill the system with Nulon Ultra Cool Pre-Mix. Do not add water.
Run the engine and turn the heater ON to maximum. Re-check level when the engine is cool. Top up when necessary.
Replace Nulon Ultra Cool Pre-Mix every 2 years or 40,000 km, whichever occurs first.
NOTE: Do not mix with any other coolant. If spilled on paintwork, wash off with water immediately.

Warning: Under no circumstances mix radiator products of different brands, and never under-treat with radiator products. Where Nulon Ultra Cool Pre-mix (R45PM) is used as top up with other brands of coolant, perform complete coolant change within the next 2,500km for continuous protection.
First Aid:
For advice contact the Poisons Information Centre (Ph. Australia 131 126; New Zealand 0800 764 766) or a doctor (at once). If swallowed, do NOT induce vomiting. If in eyes, hold eyelids apart and flush the eye continuously with running water. Continue flushing until advised to stop by the Poisons Information Centre or a doctor or for at least 15 minutes. If skin or hair contact occurs, remove contaminated clothing and flush skin and hair with running water. Continue flushing with water until advised to stop by the Poisons Information Centre or a doctor. Not to be used as a food container.
