Hi I have a 04 Holden Crewman, 5.7lt, auto that i purchased about 8 months ago. I complained to the Holden dealer which I purchased my car from about my diff due to common Holden LSD problem, diff chatter. They supposably replaced the oil and added the Holden Friction modifier. After driving it home i thought the diif was going to explode. I phoned them straight away they said you need to give it time.
After 7 months it was time for me to fix it. I brought the Nulon 80w-140 fully synthetic heavy duty LSD oil. After doing roughly 8 Lh/Rh figure 8s and about 25kms, the diff has quitened down, no more diff chatter. I highly reccommend this product for all Crewman owners in fact anyone with an LSD. I have always been a user of the Castrol range of lubricants and have never had any major problems except for my Land Rover Diff's constantly cooking the Syntrax oil I was using which required replacing every 10K. I recently noticed Nulon had expanded it's range of products to include an 85W-140 Limited Slip Differential oil which I figured I would try considering I do alot of towing of my 2T boat. The Nulon product was put in 2 weeks ago and since then I have traveled around 2500Klm's with a trip from Syd-Bne-Syd and other running around. I've been so impressed with the product that I have replaced the OAT radiator fluid and engine oil last weekend with Nulon product and have not only save a small fortune compared to Castrol but feel I am doing my vehicle a better service. Thanks.
