Nulon Full Synthetic 5W-20 Fuel Conserving Engine Oil is designed to provide the ultimate protection for all new-generation passenger car and light commercial petrol engines that require an ultra-low viscosity 5W-20 engine oil.
Check the lubeguideNulon Full Synthetic 5W-20 Fuel Conserving Engine Oil is designed to provide the ultimate protection for all new-generation passenger car and light commercial petrol engines that require an ultra-low viscosity 5W-20 engine oil. Specifically formulated to provide optimum fuel economy while maintaining a high level of engine protection during long oil drain intervals and cold start-up.
Recommended for use in both turbocharged and non-turbocharged petrol engines.
Meets ILSAC GF-5 energy conserving requirements and delivers greater fuel economy and engine protection. Additional anti-wear additives provide maximum performance and protection to engine and turbocharger components, while enhanced corrosion protection provides bio-fuel compatibility for vehicles using E10 and E85 fuels.
Nulon Full Synthetic 5W-20 Fuel Conserving Engine Oil has added Molybdenum Dithiocarbamate to give you additional high-level wear protection and performance. Molybdenum Dithiocarbamate is proven to dramatically reduce friction and provide increased engine wear protection from cold start to extreme temperatures, giving you added benefits over standard engine oil alone.
NOTE: Not recommended for heavy-duty diesel engines. Refer to your vehicle service manual for correct lubricant requirements and service intervals.

The main drive behind the use of thinner engine oils is fuel efficiency. The thinner the oil the less drag on internal components and also results in reduced energy loss caused by the oil pump etc.
Nulon engine oils contain Moly DTC. This unique, state of the art, engine oil additive offers huge reductions in friction to provide improved fuel economy and provide optimum wear protection.
Synthetic base oils have a number of advantages over mineral base oils. The uniformity of the synthetic oil molecules improves the thermal stability and reduces oxidation of the oil. Controlled molecular structure also results in lower volatility and a more stable vicosity over the life of the oil.
Most diesel engine oils carry a higher specification rating than petrol engine oils and vehicle manufacturers often specify a diesel engine oil be used in a petrol motor. This does not work in the reverse, petrol only engine oils cannot be used in diesels. Some engine oils carry both petrol and diesel specifications.
All engine oils contain detergent and dispersant additives which remove contaminant build-up inside your engine. When new oil is added to an engine these additives strip away build-up and hold the contaminant in suspension so it can be removed when the oil is drained, this does discolour the oil.
SAE is the Society Of Automotive Engineers (USA). The SAE rating of an oil is a measure of its viscosity (eg 20W50).
API is the American Petroleum Institute. The API rating of an engine oil covers the performance rating of the oil (e.g. SM for petrol, CF for diesel).
ACEA is a European industry body up of European vehicle manufacturers. The ACEA rating of an engine oil of covers the performance rating of the oil (e.g. A3/B3, C3).
No, all Nulon engine treatments are compatable with synthetic and mineral oils
How to change your Engine Oil
We show you how to change your vehicle's engine oil in an easy step by step process.
All you need to do this is, car jack, jack stands or ramps, socket or spanner, drain plug washer, oil filter wrench, oil drain pan, some rags, container for the used oil, some gloves, a new oil filter and Some Nulon Engine Oil.
Contact your local waste facilities or environmental protection agency. Used coolants can contain environmentally unfriendly materials that have originated from the engine cooling system and need appropriate disposal. Do not drain used coolant onto the ground or into storm water.
Nulon engine treatments can be used in used in four stroke boat and four stroke motorbike engines but at appropriate dosage rates (see labels for details)
Engine, gearbox, and transmission oils are blended from base oils. These base oils are categorised into Groups by the API Base Oil Classification system. If the automotive field Group III and Group IV base oils are marketed as synthetic.
Nulon provide lubricant recommendations in their on-line Lube Guide. (mobile version)
Follow the vehicle manufacturers guidelines. Use an oil that meets there required specification and follow the vehicle manufacturer recommendation on oil change intervals. The interval can vary depending on driving and climate conditions.
All engine oils contain zinc, but in varying amounts.
