Is an extreme pressure API GL-5 semi-synthetic hypoid gear oil that provides superior wear protection. It can also be used in substitution for SAE 80W-90 or SAE 90 viscosity oil for gearboxes that are experiencing gear shift problems. Ideal for use in transaxles with combined manual gearbox and hypoid differentials. For use in passenger cars and light commercial vehicles. Suitable for towing and 4x4 operation.
Check the lubeguideNulon Semi Synthetic 75W-90 Smooth Shift Manual Gearbox & Transaxle Oil (SS75W90) is an extreme pressure API GL-5 semi-synthetic hypoid gear oil that provides superior wear protection. Ideal for use in transaxles with combined manual gearbox and hypoid differential. For use in passenger cars and light commercial vehicles. Suitable for towing and 4x4 operation.
Nulon SS75W90 is optimized using the synergy of synthetic and high quality mineral base fluids for use in manual gearbox and transaxle oil. SS75W90 is engineered with superior additive technology to enhance wear protection, oxidation stability, corrosion protection, and low temperature characteristics.
SS75W90 is suitable for use where high operating temperature, high speed or low speed & high load conditions exist . It provides anti-scoring properties for components that experience heavy duty conditions. It is fortified with anti-oxidant inhibitor to prolong the oil life and prevent sludge build up and varnish formation.
Nulon SS75W90 can be used as a substitute for SAE 80W-90 or SAE 90 viscosity oil for gearboxes that are experiencing gear shift problems or are notchy when cold.
For enhanced anti-wear performance use Nulon Smooth Shift Manual Gearbox & Diff Treatment. Part No: G70.

No, the API GL5 rating does not supercede or cover the GL4 rating. It is important to follow the gearbox or diff manufacturers recommendations and use the correct GL rating.
A hypoid gear oil is a lubricant that is designed to operate effectively with hypoid gear designs. Most gearboxes and differentials use hypoid gear designs and the lubricant must contain EP (extreme pressure) additives to prevent wear between the sliding surfaces of a hypoid gear mesh.
Synthetic base oils have a number of advantages over mineral base oils. The uniformity of the synthetic oil molecules improves the thermal stability and reduces oxidation of the oil. Controlled molecular structure also results in lower volatility and a more stable vicosity over the life of the oil.
Contact your local waste facilities or environmental protection agency. Used coolants can contain environmentally unfriendly materials that have originated from the engine cooling system and need appropriate disposal. Do not drain used coolant onto the ground or into storm water.
Nulon shows you how to change your vehicle's gearbox oil in an easy step by step process.
All you need to do this is: car jack, jack stands or ramps, level bar, socket or spanner, drain plug washer, oil drain pan, some rags, container for the used oil, some gloves and Nulon Gearbox Oil.
Engine, gearbox, and transmission oils are blended from base oils. These base oils are categorised into Groups by the API Base Oil Classification system. If the automotive field Group III and Group IV base oils are marketed as synthetic.
