Ideal for use in transaxles with combined manual gearbox and hypoid differential. For use in passenger cars and light commercial vehicles. Suitable for towing and 4x4 operation.

Nulon SS75W90 is optimized using the synergy of synthetic and high quality mineral base fluids for use in manual gearbox and transaxle oil. SS75W90 is engineered with superior additive technology to enhance wear protection, oxidation stability, corrosion protection, and low temperature characteristics.

SS75W90 is suitable for use where high operating temperature, high speed or low speed &  high load conditions exist . It provides anti-scoring properties for components that experience heavy duty conditions. It is fortified with anti-oxidant inhibitor to prolong the oil life and prevent sludge build up and varnish formation.

Nulon SS75W90 can be used as a substitute for SAE 80W-90 or SAE 90 viscosity oil for gearboxes that are experiencing gear shift problems or are notchy when cold.

Is an API GL5 gear oil better than a API GL4 gear oil?

No, the API GL5 rating does not supercede or cover the GL4 rating. It is important to follow the gearbox or diff manufacturers recommendations and use the correct GL rating.

What is a hypoid gear oil?

A hypoid gear oil is a lubricant that is designed to operate effectively with hypoid gear designs. Most gearboxes and differentials use hypoid gear designs and the lubricant must contain EP (extreme pressure) additives to prevent wear between the sliding surfaces of a hypoid gear mesh.
