DOT 5.1 LV Full Synthetic Brake Fluid
Nulon DOT 5.1 LV Full Synthetic Brake Fluid is an OEM replacement product formulated to meet the demands of modern braking systems. The high-performance formulation is engineered with advanced synthetic technology and provides maximum braking efficiency and safety for your vehicle.
APPLICATIONS
Use where Super DOT 4, DOT 5.1, and DOT 5.1 LV fluids are specified by the manufacturer, including in Hybrid and BEVs. It is ideal for use with brake systems with ABS and is suitable for use in TCS and ESP/DSC systems where lower viscosity (LV) fluids (at -40ºC) are required in colder climatic conditions.
BENEFITS:
- Reduces brake fade and enhances braking responsiveness
- Minimum 265°C boiling point
- Contains corrosion inhibitors for increased component life
- High thermal stability and minimises moisture adsorption

NULON FULL SYNTHETIC DOT 5.1 LV BRAKE FLUID is a Premium Performance brake fluid meeting the requirements of 4925 Class 7.
The high dry and wet boiling points of NULON FULL SYNTHETIC DOT 5.1 LV BRAKE FLUID exceed the requirement according to DOT 5.1 LV/DOT 5.1 ESP thus offering a reliable functionality even during longer braking processes and at high brake system temperatures.
Due to the low viscosity, fast actuation is possible ensuring that ESP and ABS safety systems operate properly even at cold temperatures.
Thanks to its modern NuEv Hybrid Technology formulation, this product meets the requirements for hydraulic brake systems used in conventional, hybrid and electric vehicles.
Advantages:
- Universal use in both passenger cars and commercial vehicles where a brake fluid according to ISO 4925 Class 5-1, Class 6 or Class 7 is specified
- Exceeds conventional brake fluids of FMVSS NR.116 DOT 3 and DOT 4 and can be used in the respective applications
- Excellent protection against bubble formation due to its very high dry and wet boiling point
- Very fast response time of the brake system even at low temperatures due to the excellent flow behaviour of the low-viscosity brake fluid
- Specifically developed for modern vehicles withdriving stability systems such as ABS and ESP
- Thanks to NuEV Hybrid Technology suitable for selected hybrid and electric vehicles
The vehicle manufacturer’s recommendations are to be adhered to when using NULON FULL SYNTHETIC DOT 5.1 LV BRAKE FLUID. NULON FULL SYNTHETIC DOT 5.1 LV BRAKE FLUID must not be used in brake or hydraulic systems in which the use of mineral- or silicone-based fluids (e.g. LHM or DOT 5) is specified.
NULON FULL SYNTHETIC DOT 5.1 LV BRAKE FLUID was originally developed for conventional applications but additionally fulfills the requirements in selected hybrid and E-applications according to the manufacturers' specifications. NuEV Hybrid Technology therefore builds the bridge between existing and new lubricant applications.
NULON FULL SYNTHETIC DOT5.1LV BRAKEFLUID is miscible and compatible with conventional brake fluids of the same technology or specifications. In order to fully exhaust the benefits offered by NULON FULL SYNTHETIC DOT 5.1 LV BRAKE FLUID, mixing with other products is to be avoided and a complete changeover to NULON FULL SYNTHETIC DOT 5.1 LV BRAKE FLUID is recommended. In case of contact with hands and car paint, please wash off thoroughly with water.

NOTE: Always follow vehicle manufacturer’s directions and specification. Ensure master cylinder and reservoir caps are clean to reduce contamination of the brake fluid. Replace brake fluid every 24 months. Do not spill on paintwork. If fluid is spilt on paintwork, do not wipe off, wash off immediately with water. Contamination of brake fluid or brake components with petroleum, oil, water or other fluids may result in brake failure. Maintain cleanliness when handling brake components and dispensing equipment. Brake fluid absorbs moisture. Reseal all containers with caps immediately. Discard resealed containers after 12 months of opening.
FIRST AID: Avoid contact with skin and eyes. If skin contact occurs, wash area thoroughly with soap and water. IF exposed or concerned: Get medical advice/attention. Wear protective gloves/protective clothing including eye/face protection. Use personal protective equipment as required. For advice, contact a Poisons Information Centre (e.g. phone Australia 13 11 26; New Zealand 0800 764 766) or a doctor (at once).
